Most powertrain control modules and electronic control modules we sell are plug-and-play. All Chrysler products are pre-programmed. Some Ford and Honda models may require a locksmith to calibrate the ignition after installation.
Your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) can usually be found on the dashboard near the windshield, inside the driver-side door frame, or on your vehicle registration or insurance documents.
A VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is a unique 17-character code that identifies your vehicle. It includes details about the manufacturer, model, engine type, and production year.
Plug-and-play means the engine computer module is pre-programmed and ready to install. Once installed, it will function properly without any additional setup.
