Motorcyclist Crashes Into a Car and Lands On Its Roof

How many times have you said, “I wish I had a camera.” Those beautiful Kodak moments are a rare thing. So many events pass by in our lives that exist only in our memories and are lost as they fade with time. But thanks to rampant police corruption and insurance fraud in Russia, none of us are missing out on this once in a lifetime, mind boggling moment. As it turns out, drivers in Russia routinely have dashboard cameras installed in their cars as a defense against a common car insurance scam known as a forced rear ending. It’s also a pretty good defense against the occasional greasy corrupt officer of the law. So there is a very valid explanation to counteract accusations that this video is actually an elaborately staged stunt. If the truth is told however, even if this were a staged stunt, it would defy belief. The video shows a busy freeway, packed with cars traveling at highway speeds. A motorcycle cuts through the traffic and continues forward. No big deal. Then the car in the right hand lane switches lanes at the same moment that another motorcycle attempts to cut through. The crash is nothing short of spectacular. But wait! The motorcyclist isn’t lying on the freeway in a pool of his own blood as expected. He is crouched on his feet on the hood of the car in front of the camera. Rewind the video and look again. You won’t believe your eyes. Car hits motorcycle, shrapnel flies along with the rider who does a perfect 360 degree flip at full highway speed and lands-on his feet no less-on the hood of the car in front of him. As if this isn’t incredible enough, the car hasn’t stopped moving yet, so he squats down, seemingly casual, as if this is simply his new ride now. It takes a serious set of cojones to crash a motorcycle at full speed and walk away from the accident completely unscathed. But it takes a pair of Teflon cojones to look this unbelievably cool while your doing it. Whether this is an elaborately staged, James Bond style stunt, or a statistical freak of luck that may have used up this man’s entire lifelong stock of good karma, this is the mother of all Kodak moments. And it is forever captured in time for all of us to enjoy.
