7 Dangerously Incredible Ice Drifting Videos

Winter is here, and even if you hate the snow, there’s no way you aren’t at least a little excited for the season. Why? Snow drifting, of course! This is the magical time of the year when even the most uncooperative, hard to handle car can feel a little more dare-devilish skating around icy curves. But if you can’t get out somewhere safe and play yourself, there’s always videos; we even gathered some together for you. Below are 7 of some of the most awesome, terrifying ice drifting videos.

1. Supercar Drifting Uphill in Snow
In this video, we see Swedish skier Jon Olsson drive straight up a ski slope, narrowly drifting around cars, trees, and sharp corners. His expert handling of his 600 horsepower supercar, the Rebellion R2K, makes the dangerous course look as easy to drive as a straight country road in perfect weather. 

2. Fun in the snow
Here we watch two buddies tearing through the roads of Minnesota in the middle of winter. In a blue Mazda RX-7 and a red Mazda Miata, the two slide easily around bends– up until one of them ends up stuck, obviously.

3. Evo 7 Drift Action
This Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 7’s driver is having a great time pulling donuts and skidding around the parking lot. He gets a little too close to poles and walls for comfort. 

4. Fwd drifting
This one is all kinds of fun. The neat angle lets you see all the precision required of the driver to skate past snow banks, cars, and mailboxes by the skin of his teeth, while also allowing glimpses of the amazing Swedish scenery. Plus, his Peugeot 206 handles beautifully. 

5. LAMBOS LOVE SNOW
Jon Olsson is back, this time in his Lamborghini Gallardo. After knocking feet of snow off, he takes the gorgeous car for a spin on snow-packed roads. 

6. NISSAN GT-R Ski slope
Another ski slope, though this time conquered by a Nissan GT-R. The scenic drive to the top features incredible drifting around tight corners, while the drive up the slope itself is just insane. 

7. Conor Daly snow drifting 2010
Professional racer Conor Daly tears up his front yard playing around in his Subaru Impreza WRX STI in this video. Don’t try this in your yard unless you want your homeowner’s association on your case.
