Only two of them were produced, but that didn&#8217;t stop three friends from creating their own version from scratch. The car is made completely from scrap and weighs only a little over 2000 pounds.\r\n\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/4pdrhoc.jpg\"><strong>The Knitted Car<\/strong><\/a>\r\n\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.solopcms.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-222\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopcms.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/2.png\" alt=\"2\" width=\"900\" height=\"508\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.solopcms.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/2-300x169.webp 300w, https:\/\/www.solopcms.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/2-768x433.webp 768w, https:\/\/www.solopcms.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/2-640x360.webp 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\nThis car&#8217;s name is Sonja and it&#8217;s turned quite a few heads while rolling through the town of Oppdal, Norway. It&#8217;s a 1982 Simca Talbot and was made by knitting-veterans Mary, Sonja Shoes Heim, and Brit Elin Ronning, who decided to graduate to knitting a car after having so much success with bicycles.\r\n\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/Kyj2mxl.jpg\"><strong>The Giant Shoe<\/strong><\/a>\r\n\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.solopcms.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/3.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-223\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopcms.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/3.png\" alt=\"3\" width=\"900\" height=\"604\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.solopcms.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/3-300x201.webp 300w, https:\/\/www.solopcms.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/3-768x515.webp 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\nThe Kang Shoe Company is based out of Wenzhou in China, and to drum up brand recognition, their marketing department got to work making a 10 foot long shoe car. It cost them around $7000 and took about 6 months to make. It&#8217;s made with real leather, too.\r\n\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/O4P0tbs.jpg\"><strong>The Mad Max Post-Apocalypse Car<\/strong><\/a>\r\n\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.solopcms.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/4.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-224\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopcms.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/4.png\" alt=\"4\" width=\"900\" height=\"675\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.solopcms.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/4-300x225.webp 300w, https:\/\/www.solopcms.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/4-768x576.webp 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\nThis car was spotted down at the Burning Man festival in the year 2000. It&#8217;s been heavily customized and looks like a desert cruiser from Star Wars was crash landed into the thunderdome.\r\n\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/uWElBb4.jpg\"><strong>Sashimi Tabernacle Choir<\/strong><\/a>\r\n\r\nSinging bass heads were a popular gag gift to give out a few years back, and a team of over thirty people help put together this car, which is completely covered by over 250 singing fish and lobsters.
