Product details
If you've been searching for an tcu auto computer to stop the sluggish shifting in your 1996 Dodge Neon. The tcu is the transmission control unit and it acts as the regulator of power and sends signals to your solenoids, torque converter, and many other working parts. The TCU is the brains behind controlling the entire power converting process. Replacing this part of your car's electronics will have it back in tip top shape. Our transmission control units are repaired, rebuild, and reprogrammed using the latest firmware updates. All of our tcus come backed with a LIFE TIME WARRANTY, if you just happen to not see a unit here, call us and we'll locate one for you.

Most powertrain control modules and electronic control modules we sell are plug-and-play. All Chrysler products are pre-programmed. Some Ford and Honda models may require a locksmith to calibrate the ignition after installation.
Your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) can usually be found on the dashboard near the windshield, inside the driver-side door frame, or on your vehicle registration or insurance documents.
A VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is a unique 17-character code that identifies your vehicle. It includes details about the manufacturer, model, engine type, and production year.
Plug-and-play means the engine computer module is pre-programmed and ready to install. Once installed, it will function properly without any additional setup.
