Your vehicle’s data, moved to a working module
Some modules can’t be repaired, and some vehicles can’t accept a blank replacement without a dealer visit. Cloning solves both. We read the vehicle-specific data from your original unit, including the VIN, immobilizer keys, mileage and calibration, and write it to a tested donor module so it installs and runs exactly like the one it replaces.
We have been cloning and programming vehicle computers in our Miami lab since 2003, including discontinued modules and units with water damage or failed drivers. If the original can be read, it can usually be cloned.

When cloning is the answer
A damaged original that still reads, a discontinued module, a security-locked replacement, or a vehicle that must keep its mileage and key data.
What we transfer
VIN, immobilizer and key data, odometer, and the factory calibration for your engine and transmission, so no dealer programming is needed after install.
Programming when cloning isn’t possible
If the original can’t be read, we program a replacement to your VIN and calibration on the bench and test it before it ships.
A malfunctioning module can’t wait for another day
If your car has been having problems and you cannot work out what the root cause is, it will usually have something to do with the computer system. As its name implies, the function of an engine control module is to control your car’s engine and ensure everything is working smoothly, so that emissions are low and fuel efficiency is high. It is also responsible for monitoring the vehicle’s myriad systems as well, which is why a malfunctioning module can be a big headache and an ECU computer module repair is just not something that can be put off for another day.

At Solo PCMS, repair comes first. Once we receive your control module, our technicians diagnose it on the bench, repair or clone it, program it, and send it back. Only when a unit can’t be saved do we offer a remanufactured replacement.
The process of repairing your control module involves assessing the symptoms of your module, calibrating the codes, and conducting an internal and external inspection. Once the preliminary testing is complete our in-house techs will have the necessary information to get the job done. Before we send your repaired unit back, Solo Auto will test the functionality of the unit, update the programming codes and finally retest the functionality.
